'Meanest Man' to be chosen from faculty
Published in Rensselaer Polytechnic on March 1969.

Starting on March 20 and lasting until March 26, some of your more ambitious instructors on campus shall be running for the office of MMOC (Meanest Man On Campus - pronounced "Me Mock"). They shall be asking for your help in their campaign, so choose your candidate and give him your full support.

Each year Alpha Phi Omega organizes a campus-wide election to let someone obtain a high honorable title on campus. Each year this title is one of two variations: UMOC and MMOC. UMOC (Ugliest Man on Campus) is run with individual students campaigning for the title of becoming the Ugliest Man on Campus, and this hsa been run in the past few years. However, this year APO has decided to let our faculty get into the swing of the political scene with all its headline making, big speeches, and purple boxes.

PROCEEDS TO CAMPUS CHEST
These elections are run in coordination with Campus Chest. During the election the voting is done by you, the students, with money. You give money to the candidate you feel most deserves to win and the candidate with the most money wins. The proceeds from the contest go to Campus Chest.

Be on the lookout during that election week, because your candidates for MMOC are being unleashed. They will do everything within their power to prove to you that they do deserve the renowned title of MMOC. But don't worry, whta can an instructor do to you in just one week? That's right, he can screw you.
