Hello Epsilon Zeta Alumni!
I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying your summer. I know it's been awhile since the last newsletter, but the EZAA is still alive and kicking!
As you may (or may not) know, the upcoming APO National Convention is going to be held in Boston, MA from December 27-30, 2008. This is a great time to reconnect with your brothers and get to know what's going on in Epsilon Zeta as well as with the rest of the fraternity. The EZAA will be taking this opportunity to hold our fall meeting, which will include our elections. The exact time and date is to be determined, but I will make sure that everybody is notified in advance of the conference. Take this time to start thinking about running for office. It's a great opportunity to connect with alumni as well as the current chapter. (For more information about the convention, visit http://convention.apo.org)
I would also like to encourage everybody to nominate somebody for the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Award. During the meeting that was held during Epsilon Zeta's 60th anniversary, many alumni were in favor of giving this award to an alumni who has exemplified the cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega after moving on from RPI. We have so far received only one nomination, and without nominations we can't give out the award!
As always, suggestions, comments, questions or other advice is always welcome and you can direct them to me via e-mail or snail mail.
I look forward to seeing everybody at Nationals!
In Leadership, Friendship & Service,
Alyssa J. Pasquale
